Plastering Training Course

A good plasterer is always in demand, and therefore commands some of the best rates of pay within the construction industry.

On completion of the course you will have a good working knowledge of techniques and materials. With practice you will be able to approach any plastering work with confidence.

Course Content

• Correct procedure in cutting plasterboard to size and jointing
• Dry-lining preparation and application of plasterboards to dry walls and ceilings
  Dot and dab process
• Applying skim coat to plasterboard on walls and ceilings
• Fixing angle beads and window reveals
• Bonding coats, repairs and feathering in wall finishes
• Application of sand and cement render and finishes
• Applying plaster over an artex surface
• Getting started – how to set out a quote, measure up and price a job and how best to market your business
• Product knowledge

Course Duration

You have the choice of the following courses available:

4 days Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 5.00pm
Or
4 days Saturday – Sunday 9.30am – 5.00pm

(running over two consecutive weekends)
